Provinces and territories in Canada (with the exception of Quebec) can nominate a foreign national for permanent resident (PR) status via the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), which responds to economic or job needs.
6. National Occupational Classification (NOC)
The National Occupational Classification (NOC) is a system that assigns a NOC four digit code to every occupation in the Canadian labor market, based on skill type and skill level.
7. Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA)
A Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) is a document which is required by a Canadian employer before they can hire a foreign national. A positive LMIA means there are no Canadians available to do the job, and therefore the employer needs a foreign worker.
8. Open Work Permit
There are various different options for obtaining a Canadian work permit. Some work permits are needed a job offer from a Canadian employer, an open work permit allows a foreign national to work for any employer anywhere in Canada.
9. Single-Entry Visa

10. Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA)
