The National Occupational Classification (NOC) is a system that assigns a NOC four digit
code to every occupation in the Canadian labor market, based on skill type and
skill level.
7. Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA)

Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) is a document which is required by a
Canadian employer before they can hire a foreign national. A positive LMIA
means there are no Canadians available to do the job, and therefore the
employer needs a foreign worker.
8. Open Work Permit
There
