Comprehensive
Ranking System(CRS)is a ranking system used by express entry program which ranks profiles in the
express pool on the basis of point criteria.Points are awarded to the
candidates on the basis of factors like
age,language proficiency,work experience,adaptability,educational
qualifications etc.Once the points are rewarded to the candidates’ profiles,their profiles are then ranked on the basis of these points.The candidate’s
profiles with the highest ranks are then issued an Invitation To Apply(ITA)to
apply forCanada Permanent Resident Visa(PR Visa).Express entry programis the flagship program for Canada Immigration for skilled immigrants all over
the world.It is a Points-based program that manages the profile of
the candidates who have applied under the skilled immigration program – Federal Skilled Worker Program(FSWP),Federal Skilled Trades Program(FSTP) and Canadian Experience Class(CEC).
With the help of these points candidate’s profiles is ranked in the express pool that’s the main motive of using the CRS ranking system(Comprehensive Ranking System).CRS points calculator is used in order to know how many points one is able to get.Candidates whose profiles rank the highest in the express pool based on the CRS points,they are issued an Invitation to Apply(ITA) to apply for permanent residence visa to the Immigration,Refugees&Citizenship Canada(IRCC).
Before being able to create their express profile in the express entry program and apply for Canada PR,candidate first needs to clear the 67 points eligibility criteria.These points are awarded to the candidates based on factors like age,language proficiency,work experience,educational qualifications,adaptability etc.Once the candidate scores the minimum 67 points,they are able to apply for Canada PR via the express entry program.

Year 2019 CRS points requirements for getting the Canada PR Visa
Options in 2019 for the candidates who are not able to meet theCRS cut-off:-
- First option is that they may apply throughProvincial Nominee Program(PNP)where all the provinces/territories in Canada are able to nominate the skilled and capable immigrants for permanent residency in their province based on their specific requirements and eligibility criteria.Some requires relatives to be living in the province as a permanent residence that are willing to sponsor the candidate’s application,while some need the candidates to have work experience in an occupation that is-in demand in the province.
- Second
option is to improve your CRS score.You may also improve your CRS score in the

The
candidate can be rewarded with extra points if he or his/her spouse has any sibling
living in Canada as a permanent residence,by showing relation to them
Improving
on their language proficiency examinations(International English Language
Testing System) score can get the candidates with more CRS points.
